Yes Tara, that is a reasonable reaction

Film Director Uwe Boll, did his usual troll comedy on Twitter; but that was not what took me by surprise, it was Tara Strong's reaction to his post. First though, notice he never once insults her, or does anything more than showing extreme dislike for a show and character.
Her response was to take it personally, now keep in mind, she did not create, nor write Harley for that show. Yet she takes such offense, she wants her fans and coworkers to bully this guy.
I am not saying to defend Uwe, he doesn't need it, and yes his post was trolling; however, no one would have cared had she not gotten pissy.
This is the problem with our culture at the moment, the need to be shocked and outraged, the need to lash out at anything you can.
What is the problem with a grown filmmaker not liking a show?
Guess what folks I love Harley, Tara and Uwe.
However, this made me lose respect for Tara, not Uwe.
Is he being graceful? No, but he doesn't need to, it is a damn TV character!
Literally, there are so many things we can be outraged by, this is not one of them. A person disliking a show has no ill effect on the world, people enabling the idea that you can bully a person for disliking a show, that has massive repercussions.
Uwe is not a role model, he has never tried or claimed to be, he is a provocateur.
Tara and Mark however.... They may play villains, but they clearly try to be role models to their fans, they clearly try to send positive messages, and now they are acting more like their characters.
What Uwe did, was not worth responding to, I saw it and found it mildly amusing. Then I saw the response, and it showed why so many hate our fandoms, we are the problem.
We think we are being bullied when a person shares an opinion that is not ours, we think if they dislike something we like, they dislike us. Actors with kids as fans are sending the message that this is true, she was hurt by the fact that he didn't like her show and character, and if you say she wasn't, then why respond like that... She was hurt and offended, by another person's personal opinion, and then she tried to lead a mob against that person...
Tara you are not Malcolm X going to see Brother Johnson; you are a grown woman having a hissy fit that you are not popular with someone.
Instead of using your fandom to encourage bullying someone over their opinion of a TV SHOW! Like that is totally ok... Why not do something worth your time? Or do you just want to bitch about childish things that don't matter, because that is easier and more gratifying?
That is the world I want to live in, where cultural icons use their fandoms to bully those who don't like their products...
